The plan is to reach a peak per day and, if the weather conditions will be good, to cross part of the High Tatra via Haute Route from Popradske Pleso to Green Ball Hut.
Among the most known route we will definitely try to ski Rysy steep southern face (Lynx peak), Končistá northern couloir and the alpinistic Baranie Rohy peak, one of the High Tatra classics.
..But what we’re really looking forward are those Zlomiskova’s valley endless and thrilling unnamed couloirs we heard about, and who knows what else we’ll end up skinnning up along the Haute Route.
Just stay tuned to find out detailed facts about each ascent!

Itineraries
What is it that is so special about Tatry mountains?
They’re a modest group of alpine-like peaks in the middle of Eastern Europe, not particularly known for their eights (Gerlachovský štít 2655 mt the highest), nor for their alpinists story: but this is just what makes them unique.
Tatra National Park seems to be quite a wild spot among our overcrowded European mountains, at least for what concerns ski touring and freeride.
There are just a few ski-mountaineering guidebooks in Slovakian language, none has been translated and online material is not so numerous.. a perfect destination for those who like to skin up the slopes while getting the feeling of the explorer.
for the occasion we will join our friends at RHM - Rendez vous Haute Montagne, a female collective of mountain enthusiasts arranging periodical ski mountaineering meeting all around Europe.
We’ll be spending ten days skiing around the border between Poland and Slovakia, half of them in Popradske lake area, the other half in northern Zelené lake region.
There is just a few info available about the area, so we will mostly rely on locals knowledge, and explore what’s left by ourselfves.
